Dissemination of Results
The CAM4Home will disseminate its results via various channels ensuring good visibility in research and industrial communities:
Contribution to Standards: CAM4Home consortium includes partners that will promote the project results in the relevant standardization bodies.
Documentation : The project foresees both internal and public documents. The documentation produced in the project serves as solid base for the actual technical work and for presenting and disseminating project results. The quality of the documentation will be ensured by establishing an internal review process for the deliverables.
Publications: The project will disseminate its results via high quality publications in scientific and industrial communities. Scientific dissemination channels include selected journals, magazines and conferences. Additional dissemination channels include newspapers, targeted publications, newsletters, advertising material, and project brochures. The CAM4Home project will also produce professionally designed promotional materials for external people.
Access through WWW: At the early stages of the project both public and internal web sites for the project will be created. These will serve as information exchange channel internal to the project as well as disseminating the project results and objectives.
Brochure: A brochure and a presentation for the project will be created and are updated every six months to reflect the project's progress. The brochure will be distributed in relevant events, meetings or conferences in which the project partners are present.
Events: This includes workshops, conferences, seminars, demonstrations and any other relevant activities involving interested audiences from different backgrounds. The project consortium will be active in organizing targeted demonstrations, participating and contributing to relevant conferences.
CAM4Home Demonstration: By integrating the work on CAM4Home metadata framework and service architecture and service platform, the project will be able to demonstrate a novel way of content distribution into digital home environment using multiple communication channels and mediums to provide rich multimedia experiences based on the concept of collaborative aggregated multimedia. The demonstration will be presented in relevant events to promote the results of the project and ensure good visibility of project results.
